Clarisonic Advice Needed

I am SO confused right now about the TSV coming up. Would you ladies mind telling me what exactly it helps you with. I really want to get this as I see it is for face and body. What does this do that is so much better than a good old fashion washcloth with a scrubber on one side can't do? I am 61 with skin a little bit dry but no acne. I am starting to see pores which I hate! I hope I haven't gone overboard w/questions but I just need a final push to purchase this. I guess I'm just confused what exactly this does. I know I sound like I'm just crawling out from under a rock. I will so appreciate hearing your opinions before I purchase this TSV or is there a better Clarisonic?
