Anyone ever used any Clarins products? Is it clean beauty? I know its kind of pricey but over the years Ive used Lancome, Estee Lauder, Elemis, Tatcha, etc so price not too much of an issue.

@FLGranny - I have been using Clarins One Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser daily for the past two years and  love it.  It is easy on sensitive skin, but has helped on preventing milia, which is the reason I originally tried it.  I think it is around $39 and I got it at Macy's.

I use Clarins hand cream.  For over 20 years.  Worth it!

I work for Clarins but I switched to Shiseido ( my choice). Their company is French and family owned and they focus on being “plant based”. Their two icons is Double Serum and Total Eye Lift. I wasn’t impressed with the line, and for all those plant extracts, so many lines claim to use this and that plant. But you need to realize how far down they are on the ingredient deck. What we did would demonstrate the serum on one hand and then put the moisturizer on top and show the difference between the moisturized hand your other without. And of course one looks markedly different. I didn’t care for most of their products but the two that I did like are less expensive than the Super Restorative which is always pushed. Their whole mantra is “what age are you”. I don’t go by that because you can have two women the same age and have vastly different skin and needs. Some want preventative, some to address certain issues. If you really like Clarins and you want to try it, their Super Restorative night cream is 50% off, originally 142. It’s for one day at my Macy’s. I believe it’s for today or Sunday. What I like about Shiseido is they don’t promote a night cream unless you use a day with SPF and I like them for many other reasons as well. One of their mottos is Mottanai-only what you need and nothing more.
