Hi everyone, I've been lurking on the wen forum for the past few weeks and pretty much all my newbie questions have been addressed. Thank you everyone for sharing your tips and experiences.
I am new to both qvc and wen. I was basically channel surfing the day qvc was doing the 5-16oz seasonals tsv in dec. I didn't know what a tsv was and had never heard of wen before. I started looking up wen online and was amazed at the reviews and decided to go for it. While I was waiting for my shipment, I devoured this forum to get more info and tips.
I started using WCM 2 weeks ago and love it. This week I also purchased a couple of oils from amazon, used Sam oil twice this week with great success.
I want to buy more products, but have been putting it off as I noticed Chaz is coming in jan. So finally my question: since Chaz will be here does it automatically mean there will be specials and I should wait? And I guess the specials on qvc are called TSV and OTO. And how do you know when those specials will be on. Like I said this is my first foray into the qvc world.

One easy way to find out what vendor will have the TSV will be for a given day is to look at the schedule (on the main page of the QVC website). If there's a midnight presentation, than that will be the TSV. Chaz isn't presenting at midnight, so no TSV this visit. (I think he won't have a TSV til March.) On a given day, after the TSV has either sold out or had it's last presentation of the day, then you can have a OTO. So there's no way to know in advance if Chaz will get an OTO on a given day.
However, when Chaz comes he often brings new products or replenishes products that are usually available on the website. So what you're currently seeing available from Chaz on QVC.com will be added to when he comes, since he might be introducing new products or presenting products that are currently sold out but will be replenished for his presentations.
I hope that makes sense!
What are you looking to purchase? Some styling creme? He will definitely have a kit allowing you to sample several styling products, if that's what you're after. I'd recommend that you wait til his visit and watch the presentations just so you have a really good idea of what you want to purchase and how to use it properly, because then you can be sure to buy something you'll end up loving, rather than taking a shot in the dark.
Best of luck to you, and welcome to Wenning!!!

Oh, I forgot to add: the one other category of "special" that QVC offers is Easy Pay, though it's debatable how much of a "special" that really is -- LOL. Anyway, when Chaz comes things that currently listed with Easy Pay on the QVC website might be given Easy Pay during his visit. So if you're looking at a pricey set, then the POTENTIAL addition of an Easy Pay option might be something to wait for, though it's not at all guaranteed.

Thank you FinnyMinny
I'll wait for Chaz but only buy what I need- I'll wait for the rest until march.
I'm looking to buy TT oil and CC, a SC- not sure which one.
I think thats all I need for now- I'm still in hair repair mode- I'm coming from a really oily scalp and frizzy, thin dry hair. I had basically stopped using any conditioner as my scalp was so oily and heavy. Of course, I want to try and buy everything. I'm ready to do my share of wen hoarding!

welcome to wen and the wen forum! I think buying the Dec TSV was smart to start your wen journey because you get to try the different scents. Adding oil to your routine is great too and as finnyminny mentioned some styling creme or other styling products should be your next purchase IMO.
During the wen shows they sometimes have special event pricing or OTO's, introduce new kits...keep on this forum as wenners are great at posting new kits as they become available online.
Also there's a chat thread someone starts for each month wen is on Qvc....its great fun even though it moves lightning fast!
Happy wenning!

Another vote for trying the styling creme next. Just be sure to use it on soaking wet hair! I like mixing mine with a pump of the smoothing glossing serum.

So glad you made it.
I'm 8 months & loving Wen!
Started with unhappy scalp & broken ends, now my scalp is wonderful and hair is growing. Using TT 1st wash primarily on scalp, Fig 2nd wash concentrating on hair, and add 613 CC and styling products.
I'm a believer!
Welcome to the Wen forum, the people here are so kind and helpful.
