I was just talking to my Avon lady. She told me that all the new Avon ladies have to have web sites...which Avon will set up for them. The Avon ladies are supposed to submit the orders for their customers, but some of the Avon ladies have their customers go right to their websites and order their own items. If the Avon lady orders it for you, there is no postage. I would think if you had it sent right to your home, you would have to pay postage...unless you were over the minimum order charge. I don't know how it all works, but that is why some of you were saying that your Avon ladies want you to go to their websites.

My Avon lady said she is "grandfathered in" and can still just submit paperwork. She still gives me catalogs, which she said cost about 56 cents each...if you order several packs. They come 10 to a pack. I think the Avon ladies will still be giving out their catalogs. She was telling me that they are switching to those little "button" lipstick samples like Merle Norman has because the little tubes would always come smeared all over. Anyway...I still like dealing with my Avon lady directly as she knows when something is coming on sale and can tell me honestly what people say about a product. Of course, they still take returns if you are not happy with a product.
