If you're not happy with it @SharkE , return it.  You never know.  It maybe the real deal.

Re: Chanel # 5 perfume

[ Edited ]

Lol, after reading this thread, I went and got my black bottle of Chanel No.5, purchased at least 25 years ago, out of my dark, cool closet where it has been, and lo and behold, it STILL smells the same as when I got it! (Just saw this described on Ebay as 'vintage', lol.chanel.jpg

@SharkE I buy perfume to enjoy for myself, trying to show off is pretty odd, just my opinion off course.

I did, but not often.  It's a big bottle of perfume and you don't need much, lol.

I'm of the belief that if something is too good a price there's a reason. I avoid eBay and third party sellers on other sites for that reason.

I think honest people selling at a deep, deep discount is a minority.

My feeling are that these items are either counterfeit knockoffs or stolen property. Those smash and grab items find their way somewhere.

I don't want to feel as if I'm contributing to a criminal enterprise.

How long does perfume keep if its never been open? Perfume has alcohol in it, I would think it would last a long time if unopened?

I wear Chanel #5.  It is my scent, has been for a long time and it isn't $54.00.
