Cerave is good stuff.  Though I wish I knew how to pronounce it.

I call on Dermatologists and Rheumatologists for a product I promote.  Cereva is a great line and the derms love it.  I have eczema and I use it--fragrance free, etc.  Their face wash is great in the white/green bottle.

L'Oreal skin care is too perfumey for me. I hope they don't change Cerave in any way shape or form

I think bad feelings about this kind of sale are because formulas are usually changed, seemingly for profit and not for product improvement.

Re: Cerave, AcneFree, and Ambi to be sold to L'Oreal

I'm glad that Valeant is selling Cerave to L'Oreal as L'Oreal owned companies do make nice sunscreens. Valeant may be a Canadian company but they have never bothered bringing their physical sunscreens to Canada -- the ones with zinc oxide and titanium dioxide -- I always buy those in the U.S. Maybe L'Oreal will change that.

I do like that Cerave leaves out fragrances and coloring from their products and that the prices are reasonable. I recently bought a tube of their intensive stretch mark cream at Winners but I'm just using it as a moisturizer on my face and body in this dry weather. I think it's a discontinued item which is why it's likely at Winners.

I certainly hope so, too, but I doubt they will. Cerave has too big a following and recs by derms, etc. I think they would be shooting themselves in the foot if they did!
