Has anyone tried these new products from Paula's Choice? I just went to her website to order a 2% bha, but now I'm thinking of trying the new product.

Yes. I have been using the new serum and 1% BHA, for redness relief. Unfortunately neither product has reduced redness for me. The serum claims to immediately improve skin's appearance and this has not been the case for me. I actually have more redness today.

If you're talking about the new 1% BHA that claims to calm redness, that product will eventually replace the existing 1% BHA lotion.
Personally, I'd go with the 2% liquid, which is what I use and like.

suzyQ3, Are you referring to the Resist Daily Pore Refining 2%BHA or the Skin Perfecting 2% Liquid?

@CissyT, I use the Skin Perfecting 2% Liquid. I did check out the Resist 2% and either it was the reviews or maybe the price difference (if there is one) that made me stick with the Skin Perfecting product. I just don't recall, but I am thoroughly satisfied.

SuzyQ3, Thank you for your reply. I really appreciate it. I was wondering if you could tell me if you think this is alright for sensitive skin. I have a little redness and dryness and didn't want to make it worse.

@CissyTBHAs are known to be more gentle than AHAs. I have sensitive skin that can be quite dry and have had no problem with Paula's 2% BHA liquid. Of course, I do use a moisturizer morning and night.
But you never can predict what might be a problem for you. If you're concerned, you might request samples of both the 1% and the 2%. Or just get the 2% and use a small amount (which is all you need anyway) maybe every other day at first. I use it once daily at night.

Thank you so much for answering my question. I think I will just order the 2% BHA Liquid duo from qvc and try it. I guess I'll never know until I try it for myself. Thanks suzyq3

Hi! I just wanted to share that I use Paula's Clinical Redness Relief solution for my seborrheic dermatitis and eczema flare ups. It is very soothing and works well to calm things down. It doesn't have either AHA's or BHA's - just pure calming relief. THT!
