@Shanus

Do you know of a "skin tone" eye shadow please?

@ECBG   Hello. I use cream shadows and MAC's Paint Pot in "Painterly" is really a eye primer, but for me it's not only my skin tone, but also takes away aany redness or discoloration. Many powder shadow palettes have a nude shade.

@Shanus -- Glad to read about the natural tone eye shadow. I have never been able

to wrap my head around painting unatural skin colors like green, blue, purple, mauve, etc. on one's face. I know that I am in the minority in the make- up world.

Look for "NUDE" in the color description.    Every brand...from Cover Girl to Chanel has them....

The answer would have to come from someone with your skintone.

An example:  Painterly by Mac is a very common recommendation but on my fair, cool, pink complexion it is awful. Doesn't look like a nude.mac painterly.jpg

Amazon has SEVEN (7) pages of "nude" choices...

Great question, @ECBG. I've been looking for a long time. I see women on news shows and I know they have on their lids just what I want. I even wrote to one of them to find out what it was! hahaha Of course they probably tossed it as soon as they read it.

Perricone has a couple that aren't bad (liquid) but not exactly right-one was too light, and the other was too dark. Still looking.

One of my favorites is by Bobbi Brown -- a shade called Malted.  Unfortunately, it is not sold as a single, but is included occasionally in palettes.

The actress who plays Hope on The Bold and the Beautiful wears the perfect no-color look on her eyes.  I wish I could figure out what it is.
