I am 70 and the Monai are my favorites, too. love the deep conditioner as well as the s &c. I got them onHSN, I think a tsv. It was a huge pump set. I also got the volume set-huge bottles. I am set for a year or more. I like them both equally as well.

I got them at HSN but have seen CD products at Walmart, TJMaxx,etc. Also at Ulta, and they have great sales too.

The rep on hsn said there is nothing in the products to grow hair, but use makes your hair and scalp healthier and you do not shed hair so much. I do find this to be true, but no hair growth ingredients.so you would have to use Nopxin or similiar if you want to have more hair or that light thing QVC sells (I have never tried either)

I love the Monoi products!  Swear by them!  I only wish they were in the drugstore along side the other items.  I always wonder why this one is only available online.  It's weird, isn't it?

@Grouchomarx

Have you looked at CD website? That's where I purchase my things. They always give good sale prices. I don't use the Monoi line, though, but the Sacred Tiara. This is one of the few hair products I've ever used that gives me consistent, excellent results.

I do shop the CD website sometimes, usually if there is a sale.  Otherwise I do well with HSN when they have sales. I particularly love the giant size pumps that the shampoo and conditioner come in, and on sale they're a great deal.  I just wish I could pick the line up in a store sometimes.

Really?  How interesting.  Next time I'm near one I'll take a look.  Thanks!

The last time I bought my CD Monoi spray was when there was a 40%-off sale on her website. I stocked up so it's been a while since then.

great! the last time I was at Ulta they had a buy one get one half off on CD, plus they had a really nice travel kit of the monoi. It might be on the website,.I am not sure if the 3.50 off coupon that is always on the website and store works for CD.

and they had the monoi oil which is fabulous as a perfume, it is of course a hair oil

@elizabethl123 , Would you please list the name on the label of each product you are recommending.  Carol’s Daughter has many products with similar names and I can’t tell exactly which ones you are talking about.

I love the Black Vanilla shampoo- smells divine, and the hair masque leaves the hair so soft & shiny.

I have thick hair anyway, so cannot comment on whether it does that or not.

I have the Monoi shampoo and conditioner. My mother has been after me for years to try their products because I'm biracial with thick, dry hair and she believes these are great products for my texture. She finally got fed up and bought it for me. I've been using it for a year and I do like it, it has a really nice scent. Since my hair is thick, I don't see any growth effects but combined with my Pantene anti-frizz oil and Ecostyle argon oil styling gel, my hair is a lot softer.
