Re: Bronzing Your Forehead

[ Edited ]

@monicakm My hair is about jaw length and I have light "fringe" (not thick curtain  bangs, more see through). I'm a light bronzer and do the "E" and "3" technique because it's what I learned and has become habit.  At the top, though, it's not really on the entire forehead but closer to the hairline.  With your thicker and longer bangs, you could probably pass on the bronzer in your forehead hairline but the E/3 method is so easy, so why not do it?  Then you're set for whatever happens, and it's not like not applying there is a major time saver.

@monicakm  If your wearing foundation, then you would keep your bangs back with with a head band of sorts. So why not apply bronzer to your hairline as a E&3.

I have a love & hate for bangs. I was alway pushing the longer bangs to the side. The bangs I eventually had cut were more like your last pic & still could not stand them on my forehead since moving to fl. with the heat. I have growned them out but I have to say it is a more youthful look for me & thats why I keep pondering to cut them again.

What is the E & 3 technique? I couldn't find anything describing this in makeup,  and the you tube videos that would show this method aren't available.

Apply bronzer in the shape of a “3” (or an “E”) along the side of your face, hitting your temples, cheekbones, and jawline.

Thanks for the picture. I apply bronzer to the cheekbones and sides but never thought about the headline or the jawline.
