A relatively new LG blush broke into pieces yesterday.  Fortunately it was easy to fix with a little rubbing alcohol and a few items from my kitchen.  Of course, the colors aren't swirled anymore, but it's in one piece and still works. 👍

Re: Broken Blush Compact Repair

The compacts all break at the hinge. I do not carry them in my purse so they haven't been knocked about. Just cheap compacts.

I have had that happen once or twice. This time, it was just the blush, hinge is fine.

The inexpensive plastic compacts for LG's products are accidents waiting to happen.

I rarely take any kind of makeup with me, but when I do I put it in a plastic bag, just in case. It's bad enough that the contents get all muddied up when they break but at least you don't have that stuff all over the inside of your purse.

Re: Broken Blush Compact Repair

I've been using Laura Geller products ever since she came to QVC. I've been through countless compacts, purchased both here aand from her website. Foundation, blush, highlighter, bronzer, eyeshadow. I've carried a few in my purse. I've dropped a few on my bathroom floor. NOT ONE has ever broken, nor have the contents.

This is just my experience. I don't want an LG newbie to read this thread and think that all the compacts break.
