@rochelleS

 Unfortunately, no matter where he puts the shots in that vicinity, I always had that side effect. I mentioned this last year and again a month or two ago, at some point, I still get infrequent migraines but I use a medication called Sprix. It's a nasal spray (toradol). It's a very heavy duty anti- inflammatory but it works. Instead of being in a dark room and not eating for 2 days, within a day, I feel a lot better. It's not all gone but I can eat, walk around and I feel human again. The next afternoon, I'm outside and back to life..

As a matter of fact, there is a very new drug called Aimovig, FDA approved. My neuro has it and when I saw him last week, we discussed starting on it. I never like taking any new drug because you don't know the real side effects. Just thought I'd mention it to you. I'm sticking to Botox. If it ain't broke........

As you said, Botox gave me my life back.  Stay well.

Happiness is not a destination, it is a way of life.

Never had it.  A needle in my face turns me off.  I guess if some medicine is first used to deadening the area it would be okay, otherwise, no thanks.

Just had mine done-no pain whatsoever. Juvederm is another story, but Botox for me is a win/win.
