Bolyage Highlights???

Yesterday I got highlghts but instead of foiling them in she painted them on a said it was called bolyage. All I can say is they look great! I wanted very subtle, only a shade or 2 lighter and they look perfect. Christmas party here I come!!!!! WENning!!
