Re: Body tanning/bronzing with powder

@shoesnbags

I truthfully can't remember what the shade was called, but when I was on the site, it was the lightest one that was offered.  I am not looking for anything that really looks drastic and stands out from the rest of my skin which is really fair, but wanted a bit of color to kind of make the exposed bits look a bit more alive!

Re: Body tanning/bronzing with powder

My understanding of the shades is...  Tahitian glow is for most skin colors,  Tahitian ginger is for the fairest skin colors,  Hawaiian glow and copper glow are for a bit more darker color.  I have olive skin and tan easily in the summer.  I chose the Hawaiian glow because I wanted a little more of a darker color.  Hope this helps.   All of the shades are available on Amazon.

I quit self tanners years ago.  For me, they were a pain and then they started making me itch.  I just got sick of the constant bother of them.  I decided to embrace my fair skin and stop fussing about it!

I recently purchased Laura Geller Baked Body Frosting.  I haven't received it yet, so don't know whether I will like it or not.  I am a big fan of a lot of her other products, so figured I would give it a try.  I got $20 off on her site so thought it would be the perfect time to order it.  The only plan I have to use it is for dusting a bit on my lower legs when I go some place (if ever) wearing a long sun dress or capri pants and then also on my exposed arms and around my chest, etc.  Just a bit --- to make my skin look a bit more alive!  Hope it works and does not smear too much!  If this doesn't work, then I will just forget it!

Can I ask which shade you ordered?  I'm toying with the idea of ordering for the same reasons as you.  I'd like to dust it on my very pale legs and want something that isn't too dark but gives my legs a little color.  Afraid that I'll order a shade that doesn't show up at all, and just waste my money.  Please come back to this thread and let us know how you like it and which color you got.

I wanted to respond and tell you that I got my Baked Body Frosting.  The color I got is Tahitian Glow.  I believe it is the lightest one they have.  I haven't really worn it yet because our weather is not warm enough.  But I did try some out on my lower leg.  I feel it has plenty of color.  In fact, I would not wany any more color than this or it would look really fake on me since I am so fair.  It seems like you can go really light with the puff or apply heavier for a more intense color.  Hope this helps you to decide!

I like self tanning drops you add into your moisturizer. No streaking or wacky color!

That's good news @AngelPuppy1  because I ended up ordering Tahitian Glow, too.  Thanks so much for coming back to let me know!
