I like the Gold Bond Ultimate Radiance Renewal lotion (in the gold pump bottle, not white) especially in winter.  It's fairly thick.  I always apply it to damp skin.  I think that might help some with the stickiness.  I don't generally apply all over my body though.  I usually just do legs and arms and any leftover goes on my chest.

@Icegoddess

Is that GB fragrance free?

OP is looking for fragrance free.

@SilleeMee No.  It's not a heavy fragrance and not perfumy.  Maybe like a cocoa butter smell.  It dissipates quickly.

Thanks @Icegoddess . I was wondering about that myself. I've been wanting to try that lotion for the longest time b/c of the raves for it on this forum.

I like a body cream or lotion or butter that is made with ingredients similar to those that go on the face. I buy a lot of the various ones from Isomers, since they have ingredients that do more than just moisturize.

I do not like that sticky, suffocating feeling either and I love Alba Botanica Very Emollient Lotion (unscented variety).  This is the best lotion I have ever used. I highly reccomend it for the entire body.  I keep a bottle by every sink too to keep my hands in good condition throughout the Winter.  A little goes a long way and it sinks in quickly without being greasy.

@Mom2Dogs

Yes I have used the Alpha body lotion on my face. The lotion is rather thick, almost like a cream, and it's very rich like a night cream. I sometimes use it when my face is really dry and that helps a lot.

Re: Body Lotion - Comments and question

@SilleeMee thanks....my face is soooo dry and tight feeling.  I have this lotion but never put it on my face, I'll give it a try.

Two rounds of accutane for acne in my younger days...I think that is where some of the continued dryness comes from.

FIRST AID BEAUTY.....   fabulous.   The scent free one is the original.  It is so moisturizing and soaks right in.  You don't feel like you have anything on.  Does a great job and is very soothing too.

I've given it as gifts and people LOVE IT.  I'm on AD... Sadly my last shipment is now.  Hoping they'll have another great deal for the holidays.
