Bobbi Brown A-D Essentials Kit; second shipment

Just got my kit yesterday, I think the taupe shimmer brick is pretty although you have to use a light hand with it or it can look more like a bronzer. Glad to have the brown eyeliner, I have so many black ones from other kits! Kind of disappointed in the Slopes lipstick though, I thought it was going to be more of a burgundy, it's just.......brown. I opened it and thought it looked like any other brown lipstick and I tried it on last night and it was ...brown. I have read so many good reviews of this though and so many describe it as a "flushed red shade." There is zero red in the one that I have! Maybe I'll like it with a full face so I'll try it today but I was hoping for a prettier color. Love the Sand Foundation stick!
