I guess I don't understand the need. To me either you prefer using a cream or a powder. And I've never had any type of compact containing cream and powder where, no matter how careful you try to be, some powder doesn't land on the creams.

the compact has a clear plastic cover that flips down over the two cremes to prevent that

Those pinks were made for me!  I have a similar blush but it's duo...one cream and one powder.. It's Patrick Ta.  This one looks like a great one to try!
