Hey guys could somebody help? I've always done bleach highlights in my hair but i want to stop bc i know its so bad for my hair. I know Chaz says to use something else and i've e-mailed his customer service to find out exactly what it is but i was wondering if anybody knew the names of the 2 blonde hair models (one is older and one is younger) I believe they may be related. The older one chaz always shows her from the back and says you would never guess her age. He says he does not use bleach on their hair. I wanted to see if i could get pics of their hair to take to my stylist next time. Thanks in advance!! Smiley Happy

You want to ask for a "high lift blonding product". It will take longer to process, but it's gentler to your hair.

Someone asked the same question on his facebook page. The response was Majirel and Inoa by L'Oreal.

Hope this helps.

The models you're referring to are Maria (older) and Kerri (younger). Definitely not related although they'd probably be flattered by the comment.

I don't use bleach for my highlights, just color (high lift color). If you are forgoing the bleach, it is really best to only go no more than 3 shades lighter than your natural hair color but your hairstylist will (should!) know that. If you can swing that, your hair will be MUCH healthier.

Thanks Jurby! And HappyDaze I had asked my stylist last time about high lift color for my highlights and she said since my natural hair is so light that the amount of ammonia she would have to use to get the right color would be just as damaging as using bleach if not more. I dunno. I may look for a new stylist I've only been to her once. I'm definitely going to ask her about it again and if she is sketchy about it i'm definitely going to be in the market for a new stylist!
