I think I might just win this contest. {#emotions_dlg.scared}

The summer before last we had a wonderful family trip to London and Paris. In Paris my husband and I took off one early morning to walk to a museum. Along the way we admired a table that was just beyond a railing in a furniture store. It was beautiful -- so beautiful that I just had to take a closer look.

Bad idea. Without going into the details that would make me sound a bit less insane, I walked at normal speed straight into a wall of glass that I did not see nor knew was there. The noise of the collision was apparently so crunchingly loud that the couple readying their restaurant two doors down heard it. Lovely couple -- they gave my husband tons of ice for me.

Arnica is great at healing bruises and swelling. I use the gel (it comes in cream, ointment, gel or pellets) and apply to injured areas as often as I can remember daily until the bruise is gone. It really prevents them from becoming the worst they can look. You can get it at any vitamin shop or health food store (maybe even the drugstore). Just FYI!

I agree. I use Arnica for bruises and swelling. Arnica is an oldie but a goodie.

That's OK.........I keep hitting myself in the side of the head when the car window is up........

How do you do that?

When I open the car door with the window up........it cracks me on the side of the face.
