IT Bye Bye (tube) - use a drop on hand to warm - then 'dot' under eyes and blend.with finger and then
To get a nice finish - buy TART V399126 finishing brush w/tube of concealer ...

@spent2much Love your nic, I can relate. Being fair, too, I find it easier to cover dark under eyes w/ a corrector, usually a pale peach and then a thin amount of concealer on top. Concealer alone works only if you have minimal darkness. Any blue/purple dark areas require too much/too many layers of concealer and can can cake up and look heavy.
Drugstore I recommend PIXIE corrector and dept. store (and in Sephora's sale now), Bobbi Brown began the corrector category. I'm quite fair and use the Porcelain Bisque corrector, if that helps when you see the shade chart.

Thanks for asking the question @spent2much and thanks for your answer @Shanus!
Apparently the Pixi brand is sold at Target, which would be helpful to see the product in person.

There are a couple of posters here who should be able to help you with Concealers. Concealers do just what the name implies. Women apply concealers under the eye before applying their make up.

I like the Tatcha Eye Pearl and Bare Minerals Bisque on my lids and to set underneath.
Always use creams, then powders on top. The only exception I have is, if I have a blemish that the concealer just won't stick to. In that case, I apply a little powder using a small concealer brush right on the blemish. Then I dab on the concealer and then set with a little more powder. I think the powder gives it something to hold on to.
My other trick for blemishes: I dab it with a q-tip drenched with visine )red reducing eye drops). Eye drops shrink the blood cells in the eyes, removing the redness. It also can reduce the redness in a zit. Do this first, before you do anything else. Taking the red out makes it easier to cover.

I have terrible dark circles under my eyes. I use a color corrector first in either peach or yellow. I then follow-up with a concealer.
I most often use the combo posted about above. LA Colors corrector and then ELF camo concealer.
I am one that hates that Maybelline Instant Age Rewind. It does nothing for my dark circles at all and it is way too thin watery for me to provide coverage. I do not get the hype with this product but people love it.

@spent2much wrote:ANOTHER QUESTION, ladies... do you use concealer before or after powder foundation?
@spent2much when I wear powder foundation, I put cream products on prior to that. With any liquid foundations, I put concealer on after.

I have had great results with Clinique's Even Better Eyes Dark Circle Corrector. It has actually lightened my dark circles so much that I no longer wear concealer, which is a great relief since I hate figuring out concealers.

I haven't bought foundations and lipsticks in 2 years. I follow my country guidelines. I just spent 2 months in Italy, where masks are mandatory indoors. So I have been searching for the perfect concealer.
I tried probably all brands from Sephora and Ulta. I don't use department store products, expecially if they are made in China.
My 2 favorites are Hynt and Nars. They come in small round containers.
THe Tachta one is great, but doesn't cover much.
THe Geller vanilla highlighter lightens up the dark circles, but the powder looks awful over the concealer. She shows it often using it that way.
I use sometimes the feather light Tatcha powder instead.
