@Spacrazy wrote:@Boehm Collector &. @Kitty Galore Thanks for the response, ladies. Lo and behold I have never heard of the Kaja Don't Settle but went ahead and ordered it and can't wait to try.
Stay in touch for any more ideas. I'm always left feeling it's just got to be something better (I'm too old).
@Spacrazy I agree with you I always feel there has to be something better then what I'm using lol

I've recommended this Maybelline concealer many times on this forum. It comes in many shades. Most places sell it for less than $10. Top-rated wherever it's sold.
One shade in particular, 'Neutralizer', is a color-correcting universal shade and if you can't decide which one to get then that shade will most likely work for you.
For brightening choose the 'Brightening' one. That one can work with most skin tones to lighten darkness around the eyes.

The very best ever. I always have a backup.

@Kitty Galore .. It's new to me. But I don't know whether the product itself is new. It was recommended by @monicakm on these boards. Best concealer I have ever used. It covers my under eye dark circles and lasts all day.

@Spacrazy wrote:@Kitty Galore Currently, I'm using tarte Shape Tape Concealer but I say we call on @Shanus for her best recommendation. When I say currently is because I toggle back and forth I have so many. This one seems to be holding up a little better with this wretched Texas devil-blast we're going through. I also like It concealers. Good luck and we'll see what Shanus has to say (hopefully).
@Spacrazy. Than you so much ! I tried shape tape last year and it didn't work that well for me . I know many women really like it . Everyone's skin is different though what works for one may not work for another.
@Spacrazy ..... I wasn't thriled with the Shape Tape concealer. It was too drying ad settled in fine lines.

@Kitty Galore wrote:looking for a great concealer . Been using tatcha for awhile but noticing that it isn't doing as good a job as previously. Thinking formula changed . would Love some recommendations... thanks !
@Kitty Galore Hi. I'm still a Bobbi Brown gal with their corrector and concealer. The shade range is extensive. Using corrector (a peach tone) only on the dark areas and bringing it back to skin tone with concealer is the best way to go for me. Piling on concealer for darkness gets in wrinkles and kringles. It's more expensive than drugstore, but I tap it on and the the small pots last me over 6 months.
Be sure to use a good eye cream in the morning, too and give it a chance to sink in. I've been using an avocado one from Kiehl's that isn't too slippery which can be an issue. I only set it w/ a blurring powder on top of my nose and inner eye...not under the eye. The powder placement is to keep my glasses from sliding. ![]()
***If still available, I've also used the Pixi corrector at Ulta, drugstores or Target.

@SilleeMee Oh wow, this is a "blast from the past". I had forgotten about this die-hard from Maybelline. Didn't know about the Neutralizer or the Brightening but they sound really good. Don't know why I shove the good old reliable products aside. Mainly, I remember how comfortable this felt. Guess I begin to see the latest and greatest 'boutique' brands and think the higher prices must be better - dumb, I know. Gonna this on order now and thank you for this reminder.

@Boehm Collector wrote:@Kitty Galore The best concealer I have ever used is Kaja Don't Settle Concealer. It is the only one that truly does not settle into fine lines, crack or crease. You can find it on the Kaja Beauty Website and Amazon.
@Boehm Collector Thank you I'll look into that ! Never heard of that brand is it new ?
Problem is that amazon has not had the medium shade in stock for months now. Doesnt Sephora carry it ?

@Shanus ..I love the Kiehl's avocado eye cream. I use it over the Tatcha The Serum Stick. The area under my eyes stays smooth and hydrated all day.
