Thanks for all the suggestions.  I've tried men's razors and still no good result.  I'm not going to spend money on electrolysis or waxing.  Maybe I'll try the dollar shave club.  Thanks!

I got a free Schick Hydro Silk razor for free in the Walmart beauty fall box and have been using that on my legs. I really like it. I have the coupon for $4 off so I am going to pick this up next time. 

I agree about the battery operated Venus was great. I also use Venus embrace 5 blade razors which are a FORTUNE. I shave only 1x a week now that I am older, not much hair.

I use a men's norelco electric razor. Does a fine job, and never a nick. I have several raised hemeangiomas on my legs and they bleed like crazy for days if nicked because they have a artery in them.

This thread reminded me of my first razor that Mom bought for me at Woolworth' s, around 1962.  It was just like my Dad's Gillette razor, except the handle was a bit shorter & tinted pink.  It came in a plastic drawstring bag, with an extra razor blade.  Had to turn the handle to make the business end open up, then set the double-edge razor on there, then turned the handle again to close it up.  I think they stopped making those many years ago.

@DoneTryin  AHHH, that brings back memories of my dad.  He also used a mug, shave soap, and a brush.  I remember standing and watching him shave.  Wish I could have him back for one last hug and kiss!  Miss you dad!
