I have a co-worker who wanted to try WEN, so I gave her a bottle of SAM CC and a bottle of LAV SC (that's what I had extra). She said she liked it but after a couple of cleanses, she felt like her blond highlights looked dull so she went back to some shampoo she has that's for blond hair. I think she's still using the WEN from time to time though.
Is there a particular WEN formula that's good for blond highlights? I've heard that Chaz recommends 613 for grey/white hair. That's why my mom bought it. My co-worker's birthday is coming up and I thought if there's a particular formula that is recommended for blond highlights I might give her a bottle. Especially if it's one I happen to have on hand already. Since I ordered both the Dec TSVs I have a lot of different WEN formulas right now. I also seem to have an overabundance of 613 in my personal inventory.

There just must be some unknown variable that you are not aware of - because really all the WEN CC's should work for blonde highlights. I would say just forget about it- but how sweet of you to want to do this.

I have blond highlights, and all WEN will help bring out highlights, but I found that BGT, really made my hair shine. However, it can be drying for some.

Thanks for the responses ladies. I should have known it would be too complicated. I will try to think of something else for her birthday. This is going to be a tough one!
