Just an FYI story...

After watching a recent on-air presentation by Kim Gravel for her new BEAT concealer, I decided to order.
At that time either she or Shawn Killinger described it as "clean beauty."
After opening the package, I checked to see where it was made.
Discovering that it was made in China, I rechecked the on-line description.
Nothing is stated there, not even the word "imported."

Since I use a prescription medication for my eyes, I decided to return this product as I do not want to take a chance using this concealer near my eyes.
I contacted Customer Service to inform them that their item description does not indicate where this is manufactured nor that it is imported.

Sharing this information with anyone who would find this helpful.

Just because it was made in China doesn't mean it's not a clean product.  All imported goods must meet US standards.  Perhaps a little anti-Asian prejuduce that has nothing to do with the product?

@Toots711  I don't use makeup made in China. Who knows what their "standards" are. I woundn't consider that clean beauty either.

There is no universal definition of Clean Beauty,  You just need to know what ingredients QVC has declared are not allowed in Clean Beauty.  Whether an item is imported or not has nothing to do with it.

When I started getting into makeup several years ago the $ were adding up quickly. I was following several YouTubers and wanted to recreate their eye looks but I didn't want to throw $50+ on every palette they were using. I found knockoffs on eBay from China and purchased several of them. After comparing them at Ulta I found they were almost an exact match. Even though I have moved on to using the real deal I still have those palettes and continue to use them and have never had an issue.

@piperbay    Do you take any prescription or OTC medication?  There's a good chance it was made in China.  How do you feel about popping Asian-made pills?  These products must meet US standards.

A person could be anti-China but not anti-Asian.

@Toots711

Not sure which 'Beat' you ordered, but 3 items came up.

On A612124, it clearly says imported.

To be careful, first search online for concealers made in the US, then shut down your electric devices, then gather all your prescriptions and take them to the pharmacist to check for source.

Hope this will help your eyes.

@RespectLife  Thanks. Notified CS that the wording was missing.
