Try the PTR Retinol Fusion, it is 1.5% which is still gentle to me. I have already used 3%.

I wonder how the price of one year of OTC compares to one year of a prescription. Especially since the prescription is more effective and should be covered by your medical and is packaged better.
Idle minds......

A year's worth of otc retinol won't even come close to what Rx tretinoin will do in one year. It would take about 10 years of using retinol to equal one year of using tretinoin. Plus tretinoin is the only retinoid which can reach the deepest retinoid receptors found in the skin where fibroblasts are located. We have three kinds of retinoid receptors in our skin.

Thank you, that would be my take, go big or go home.
AND dang you, still scraping away on the heel file you steered me to long ago 😂
I always read and respect your advice.

I started with Naturium Retinol as well as their glycolic acid. I used 2, maybe 3 bottles before I decided to use tretinoin. I had none of the side effects from tret and I feel it's because I used retinol first. I don't have sensitive skin.

Out of all the stuff I use these days, @Still Raining. the .1% Tretinoin cream (prescription full strength generic RetinA) is one of the least costly items in my routine. There was a time when it was not covered by our insurance because for some reason they capped it at the user being 25 yrs. old and I also wasn't being treated for acne. The best I could do was to use a coupon from GoodRx and it still wasn't cheap. Now I spend $10/tube and that tube lasts a few months. I haven't tracked it, but if I'm using a tube for three months, that's only $40/yr. for the better, more effective, proven treatment. I still continue with all my other stuff because I really enjoy going through the process every AM and PM. I look at it as personal self care time.
