The before and after pics do make me laugh. The before model is pale and stern or sad, the after model is happy and radiant.

My DH says the same thing OR he will comment that if they would smile in the before photo they would look just as pretty. He is not a fan of heavy makeup on women anyway so her prefers a more natural looking face and beauty.

My DH says this ALL the time when I watch beauty demos! He always worries that by watching these beauty shows, I want to look like the afters with heavy makeup, etc, lol.
But I agree with him most of the time- to me, many do look better in the before than the after or perhaps there could be happy medium, like not such a heavy hand with the makeup and let some of their natural beauty shine through? Most of the models do not need layers upon layers of foundation since they already have good skin! Sometimes the demos make the product look bad because they layer so much on, especially foundation demos.
