I think they’re entertaining and the goats are cute, but I don’t love the products.

Does this apply to the Korres Donkey Milk as well?? Just my 2 cents, but I prefer skin and body care to be more plant based than from animals.

@Shelbelle  probably,   i would think so. But I do not know if the donkey milk sells the amount of soap bars and the like (lotions and potions) as Beekman goat milk. But i do not see at any rate how there could be any significant amount of goat milk or donkey milk in these products, especially Beekman since they seem to be sold in large volumes. I am not stupid, how much milk can one little mama goat give.

Also I have issues with Brent. For years Shop hq continued to let him refer to himself as a licinsed medical doctor even after he walked away from the field of medicine. Numerous times I had searched online for verification he had a current medical license at the time and could not find one state during that time where he was licensed. He was at one time a licensed medical doctor, went to UNC, worked in New york. But  from what I could tell he  did not hold a medical license while on   shop hq.  Brent referred to his self as doctor every presentation I ever watched and so did the shop hq show host.

I tried their soap once and it was fine nothing to make me want to buy a second bar.  I don't get a medical doctor quitting to sell soap.  That just does not compute in my brain.  All those years of school...As for the other guy I don't buy his story either.  There is probably a lot more to their story.  When they are on with the goats I turn it off.

Had ordered the Pear set and it smells nothing like pear.  I purchased a few things last winter, some gifts, and was not thrilled.  Never again.  I also think they are not nourishing products.  I always feel like their stuff is just sitting on my skin.  Doesn't seem to absorb.

@rms1954   Skincare or soaps/lotions?

@rms1954  Speaking of Pear scent I received the Pumpkin set yesterday and used it last night and barely smell the Pumpkin. It takes me forever to use a bar of the soap so hate to order more. I am glad it is in small containers. I used to love V Secret Pear back in the day when I entered the store. Lol I agree sits on the skin.

Many posters have mentioned The Goat Milk Stuff. I can buy Zum  in my local Supermarket and it must sell well as always a display. I see Goat Milk Soap at Craft Fairs and Farmers Markets as well.

I got on auto delivery for the Beekman bars of soap, I think it is 6 bars at a time (and one lotion).  Believe it may have been a TSV.  I have recieved all the orders and I am looking forward to being done with it.  It takes my husband and me about 6 weeks to use one bar, two showers a day, so it lasts a long time.  I used to be able to smell the scents in our bathroom, but I don't smell it anymore for some reason.

The soap is just okay.  BUT, I find that it does dry out my skin.  I won't buy any more of their products.  I may try the other Goat Milk company that is being talked about.

@Shelbelle Not the same:

It should go without saying that this is not a vegan product, as it contains an animal byproduct. So if avoiding that is important to you and your skin care standards, skip this trend. However, Liz Folce, vice president at Korres, who uses the ingredient in their new line, explained to me over a Zoom call, donkey milk is collected humanely—with the baby and mother being kept together, unlike typical cow's milk extraction in which they are separated, as the mother donkey literally cannot produce milk without the child present. This also tends to mean the ingredient is created in small batches (much like goat's milk), so it tends to be a rarer, harder-to-find ingredient.

Other than that, it's a fairly mild ingredient and should be suitable for most skin types. Do be sure to do a patch test prior to applying it on your face, as we recommend with any new product or ingredien
