I ordered the Tarte BB foundation in fair. The nice gwp was included. If the foundation color doesn't work well for me, I'm gonna return it. I'll probably just keep the gwp. If I return it, they can't send it out to any one else anyway. I don't think you would need to return it. Thats just my opinion.

I believe you must return the GWP if you return the product. It is just like Clinique, Lancome or any other GWP if you return the product you purchased then you must return the gift.

This is a thank you for the purchase so if you are not purchasing then you must return the gift.

In my purchase it said to please not return the items but give them to someone if you cannot use the product so maybe you could do that. At least then the charity gets to keep the funds donated.

Thank you Bikkie for the respectful, appropriate answer to my question! I'm sorry that with my Masters Degree and the 7 initials after my name that I'm not as smart as you are, BUT one thing I do have that you don't is RESPECT! Some places where you buy a product and it doesn't work for you, you get to keep the "Free Gift With Purchase" as this was advertised to be! Guess you and I just graduated from different charm schools!

That piece of paper doesn't bestow common sense clearly. The items in the gift with PURCHASE were donated. If you return your purchase, which is a beauty item that cannot be resold, it's pretty "duh" that an educated person such as yourself would wonder if you could keep the donated items without contributing to the cause.

sadly, i believe that some do order from these events with every intention of returning their order but keeping the gift.

I already returned my purchase. I really, really, really hated the Dior mascara I bought. I returned the entire thing, including the free gifts. I don't begrudge others, but it doesn't suit my moral-compass to keep the free gift and return the main item.

who in their right mind would think it is okay to keep the GWP when they are returning the item they PURCHASED? You are suppose to send the GWP back but as someone else mentioned, I am sure there are people who are ordering with every intention to return the purchased item but keep the GWP bag. Pretty pathetic, given that part of the point of the GWP is to encourage you to purchase something during the event to support a worthy cause. But those few that do this type of thing will ruin it for everyone else, as usual, and QVC will eventually stop including the GWP.

Dear Bikkie, the next time someone asks a question you might want to ACTUALLY know what the answer is before you post a rude, disrespectful remark! I called customer service today and NO YOU DO NOT HAVE TO RETURN THE GIFT BAG if you have to return the product!! I had a college professor who told us, "there is no such thing as a stupid question, there are only stupid answers!!! DUH!!!!!!!!
