I orddered It Cosmetics serum with Vitamin C in it. There is a duo. I will get it probably next week. I'm anxious to try it. I ordered Good Molecules exfoliating powder that I received a rec. from on here. I got there exfoliating serum, also. I have to replace my Neutrogena face wipes. I did get Campanelli's face towels that you only have to use water with. I will take the mojority of my makeup off with those + then use another lighter cleanser after that. I'm looking forward to trying them, also.

@Sue4802 A word of caution, if you don't mind. In your thread on exfoliators, you mentioned wanting recommendations of items that won't hurt your skin. I believe in exfoliating, but if you're new to exfoliation, you've got three exfoliators here and that could inadvertently set you up for some troubles. The serum and enzymatic cleansing powder are probably fine, but you would be wise to ease into using them and don't overuse. I had to give up the makeup removal towels. They may feel soft, but they ended up causing irritation and sensitivity.

JeanLouiseFinch , thank you for your advice. I will be careful + not use all together. I have usually used chemical exfoliation. I needed advice on what is best in exfoliators. What makeup wipes did you use? I use Neutrogena at times. I use Beekman wipes, also. I'm going ot use Campanelli, as I will take off makeup with those + then use a cleanser like Philosophy Purity to take off the rest. I will use an exfoliator certain days a week. Thank you again, Jean.

@Sue4802 I don't use any makeup wipes in my face ever.

I'm sorry, Jean. I thought you had said you had to give them up + I was wondering what ones you had to give up. I bought the Campanelli makeup removers, as I want to not use the facial wipes either. They will be my first step , then followed by a milder cleanser for makeup removal. Thank you again for your advice.

It was the Campanelli type cloths I had to give up. And, you're welcome.

I ordered some Laura Geller products that I'm including in this week's list.
These are a repurchase for me, except for the French Vanilla Highlighter. That is a new product for me. I have used the Bal. 'n B and the Blush 'n B. but not in this shade that automatically comes in this kit.
I have tried and love the Ethereal Rose Blush 'n B.
I ordered them from her website, as she has some really good sales there and you can also get free shipping too when you spend over $40.
Thanks to those here who have mentioned her website and the sales there. ![]()
Her prices here at the Q are also really great, too.
She has different configurations at both places.
The products from her site come regular mail, so they took like a week to get here.
Everything came packaged in a heavy-duty envelope and the B 'n B compacts were inside bubble wrap on the outside of their little boxes, and then were packaged inside of little heavy cardboard sleeves inside of their regular box packaging, and nothing had melted either, considering the heatwave that we were all experiencing.
So, they were packaged very nicely.
She has a kit that was on sale where you get a Balance 'n Brighten in your shade choice--mine was Porcelain because I'm very fair-skinned--a Blush 'n Brighten in Tropic Hues, and a small French Vanilla Highlighter. The kit also comes with a really nice quality retractible kabuki brush.
I also chose two more brushes that came together in a set that were on an upsell at check-out that were a good deal.
I like her brushes and I could always use more brushes.
I also got two Jelly Hydrating Lip Balms that were also on sale. I have been wanting to try these. I got:
In the Buff--a pink shade
Jammin'--a berry shade
I also bought Miss Boucheron 3.3 oz. Perfume from HSN.
It's a blind buy, but usually when I read the fragrance notes, I'll know whether it's something that I'd like to try. The price was good and I also had a coupon to use. It's supposed to be here tomorrow.
I also bought an Eve Pearl Lip Palette Kit from the Q. It's supposed to be here by the end of the week, by mail.
It's the Eve Pearl 3 Piece Complete Lip Care Collection
It was on sale. It comes with the lipstick palette, and then with a small jar of lip balm, and also with a tube of gloss.
That's it for me for awhile. I'm in the process of tossing out old beauty products and old health and beauty products too and cleaning as I go along, so I have been replacing some products as I go.

I had a Derm. tell me years ago, that if your skin is very sensitive, sometimes all that you need for exfoliation is a wash cloth with just your facial cleanser, and nothing more.
He told me that you don't even need to do any extra exfoliation with any particular facial exfoliation products--that the wash cloth itself would be exfoliating enough for sensitive skin.
Sometimes those of us with sensitive skin want to use beauty products that everyone else uses, but I had a different Derm. literally tell me that using certain products on my skin/face would be like, "adding gasoline to a fire!" ![]()
