Has anyone who is a side sleeper ever purchased any of the various pillows that are supposed to help keep face from wrinkling? Not looking for improvement in existing wrinkles, just trying to keep wrinkles from getting worse. Someone also recommended a silk pillowcase. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Ridiculous question, I know.

No pillow or pillowcase ideas, but I have a suggestion. As a side sleeper, I have always put my hand resting on the edge of my head (by the hairline). My neck and head is on the pillow, but my face/eyes are not. For me, this is how I sleep. It was not done as a wrinkle 'prevention'. Just comfortable. And not one sleep wrinkle in eyes or face when I wake up.

I sleep like this, on my hand. I still have a vertical wrinkle in the cheek on that side. Evidently I'm squishing the skin forward.

I fall asleep on my left side. That side has my worst marionette & jowl line.

I have a face saver pillow and I really like it. It looks like a small boomerang. Lol! I try to sleep on my back, but I always wind up on my side. I had a crease by my eye that was taking longer and longer to go away in the morning. I had a buckwheat pillow that I liked, but it did not help with the sleep wrinkles. After the first night of using the face saver, my wrinkle was gone. Also, this pillow fits nicely under my neck so it helps me stay on my back longer.
I am used to sleeping on a small, flat pillow and of coarse, this pillow is flat. Also I find my self adjusting it sometimes during the night. So that is the down side on these types of pillows. I rarely sleep through the night anyway so it's not a problem for me. The inventor is an older lady who does yoga and is very fit.
I don't think it's ridiculous to wonder about this. We spend so much time and money trying to sort our faces out. It doesn't make sense to then turn around and squish our faces into our pillows at night that create wrinkles.

Thanks for the replies! BeautyBee - I think I'll go ahead and give the face saver pillow a try - I've tried to sleep on my back, but always end up on my side. I'm a light sleeper, so not worried about middle of the night adjustments. It's so crazy to spend all this time on my face, only to smush it into a pillow at night and make my nose-to-mouth lines worse! :-)

Hi Elizabeth! I hope you like it. She has a 30 day money back guarantee, so you can always send it back if it doesn't work out for you. There are so many beauty pillows out there but some are so expensive. This one costs the least. I did order it with the satin pillowcase, but she also has a cotton one.

For all ladies who are using their hand. Try moving your hand to the left of your forehead eye....at the hairline and beyond. I never get any creases as I stated the morning.

I always would wake up with creases on the left side of my face and it would take until afternoon to go away. Since I started using satin pillowcases I no longer have them.
