@sweetee2. I've used L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara (not waterproof) for many years.

I have stopped using a lash curler when I noticed some lashes getting thinner. While lashes still wet w/ mascara, use side of pinkie to hold lashes up for a second or 2 and they maintain the curl w/o damaging the lashes.

@sweetee2 I hope you enjoyed yourself at the Party! I use IT Cosmetics SuperHero Mascara but a good DS price under 5.00 sold at Ulta is Essence Lash Princess which  does give the lashes volumne & length which surprised me. Its the one in the black tube with the green lettering. 

I have the Shiseido Eyelash Curler. Hope you find one that works well for you

any Lancome mascara- i love Precious Cell s Defincil, but their mascaras are world class. Maybe you can get a sample at a department store. or a deal on HSN. they carry Lancome.

but! L'oreal is woned by Lancome and for years I used the original Voluminous and it is a staple you can count on, and toss after 3 months without guilt, and sales at the drugstore or ulta are thrilling

My stylist at ulta talked me into Benefit Roller Lash and it is ok. 

I don't like to buy too pricy mascara, I buy 2 of the Lancome at a time at gift time so my cost is spread out by the products in the "gift" but buy l'oreal as needed! good luck
