What size needles do you use?
How often do you do it & how long each time?
What skin issues is it helping with?
Any negatives?
Thanks!

Hi AnnMarie! What a timely thread. I am sitting here with a red face, neck, and hands. Lol! I just finished my third derma rolling session. I am currently following the once a month protocol by Dr. Setterfeld. I have both a .5 and a 1.0 I am using both. The 1.0 I only use along my hairline and above my lip area. Those were the only places I used a numbing cream and it helped a bunch. I decided to stay with a .5 for every place else. It's too early to tell what is going on. On the OwnDoc site they say it takes a long time to even start seeing results. But when they do, it's supposed to be noticeable.
The dread factor of having to do it is there. But once I start, it's really no big deal. Oh and I roll the way the woman does on the OwnDoc video. Really simple. I think this may be a keeper routine for me. I can't afford a laser so this will certainly do.
What I am working on is just to have overall firmer skin. Also working on faint lip lines and nasal labial folds. Typical 50-something stuff.
Negatives- some places can really sting, like above the lip and forehead. But it's still doable.
