Re: Bath and Body Works Products

I really like BBW, but most of my purchases from there are candles and room sprays.

Some of their scented body products are nice, but many of them can be a bit artificial for me personally.

The two scents I always have are Vanilla Bean Noel and Twisted Peppermint (lotion and body spray form). They are nice for getting in the holiday mood.

Other than that, I do prefer their fruity spring/summer scents. Many have been discontinued over the years, so I don't even know what to recommend right now. Your best bet is going out and seeing what they have to offer.

elainemasey, if you don't like heavy strong scents, then you probably won't like BBW products. Unlike some of the ladies here, I like BBW more now that I'm older (64). I use their shower gels and body lotions and stock up when they have big BOGO sales. Some of their fragrances are definitely strong and flowery and I avoid those. I have my winter faves like Cashmere Glow -- and I like some of their "cotton" summer scents.

I love their antibac hand soaps, especially the foaming ones, so I stock up whenever they have sales on them. I also like their shower gels and hand creams too.

My favorite scents are Warm Vanilla Sugar and Sweat Pea, and any of the Coconut scents. I also like Moonlit Path and when they have Vanilla Bean Noel during the holidays. Too bad they discontinued the Rice Flower Shea scent. That was also a favorite of mine.

I still use the BBW line, I like the body creams and creamy washes. The lotions are too watery, but then that is my opinion of most lotions. I like creams, and the BBW creams are very nice and great quality. While most of their scents are very sweet and overpowering, they have a couple that I like. Beautiful Day is my current favorite, very fresh not sweet at all.

I like Cashmere Glow too. It's not overpowering like some of the scents.

I also like Be Enchanted...and I use some of the others--like Forever Sunshine--on occasion, when I feel like it. I like the original Cherry Blossom as well.

Oh, thought of one more thing I like--the 2-minute Hand Scrub (manicure scrub?) in the SPA line (I think?). It's pink and scrubby and lasts forever. Great when doing your own nails at home. I like to remove my polish than wash and scrub my hands with this.Smiley Happy

If you do not like strong scents then go for a jasmine or a rosewood oils aroma bath.Using these oils is the most satisfying aromatherapy. Fill the tub with water and add around 20 drops of jasmine or rose oil to it. Also add a tbsp of carrier oil to it. Immerse your body to the tub and relax for at least 15 mints. You will simply love it. The best relaxation technique.

That reminded me of their Shea Cashmere hand lotion that was very unique in texture and really felt "soft". I liked that one.
