Re: BareMinerals Complexion Stick

I went to the Ulta website and looked at complexion Rescue in the tube. This website lists all of the colors and for cool, warm or neutral. Much easier to use than the BM website. Only colors that I saw for light cool were Opal and that is shown as cool very light . And wheat  is shown as cool medium with pink hues. I didn't see anything for cool light  medium. I think I'll wait until Ulta gets this in. I am so tired of buying foundations and shades that won't work for my complexion.

Anyone intetested in this, A722016? I think it's a new item. Looks like nice coverage. I did not like the Complexion Rescue that is liquid in a tube.

@MrsCat21  I missed the shows and this new product launch. I'm a big fan of the original Complexion Rescue in the tube. I especially like it because it has SPF.

This new stick product does not have SPF, wonder why? Was it discussed? I'm not going to buy it now, will wait for reviews

I watched the presentation.  It looks nice, but I didn't see a "light-medium cool" undertone color, so I'm not going to play a guessing game and get the wrong color. I hope those who bought it come back here to let us know how well it wears throughout the day.

@SurferWife  what did they say about the shades? Is it the same as the tube product shades? It would be nice for a travel kit and my mini touchup kit that I keep in my handbag.

@SurferWife I am a light medium cool and the BM color called "wheat" is absolutely perfect for me. I purchased the new stick because I like the tube complexion rescue and because I know the wheat color (4.5, I think) is perfect. Oddly, the shade just lighter (4.0.....suede?) is too dark for me. Makes no sense, of course. The wheat color swatch doesn't look accurate to me relative to what it is in real life. It is truly a light-medium cool in real life....maybe leaning toward neutral (not terribly cool). Hope this is helpful to you. @piperbay

@Goldengate8361 I also use the Wheat shade in the tube. Let me know when you get the stick if it's the same shade

@Calibeach  - I heard the rep say that the shades were the same.

I received this the other day in Natural Pecan. I love it!!! It goes on smoothly, light and is very hydrating!!! I typically wear Natural in the tube, and the natural pecan was a good match.

@SurferWife , I agree. I was also looking for a light medium cool. Actually I am going to try Bobbi Brown. She has a cool shade that I think will work.

Re: BareMinerals Complexion Stick

I have used for years Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 30 (however, I apply another higher SPF first.

I use the one for dry skin (they make one for different types of skin).

It makes my skin look flawless.

Not sure I want the try the stick, will think about it.

Re: BareMinerals Complexion Stick to TerryNJ

[ Edited ]

I checked the original CR in the tube that I still have. Best I can figure out is that the older version is listed as "hydrating", but not "luminous hydrating", as the new version is.  The older version is SPF 25.

I wonder what the difference is between this Complexion Stick and the one they had a couple years ago.
