Bare Minerals Blushes

[ Edited ]

I found an old hatbox of "new" unused sealed Bare Minerals blushes in many different colors like Flowers and Kiss and Sorbet and many others.  I checked on the Bare Minerals website and I see that they only carry 4 colors of the loose powder blushes now.  When did they stop making all the other colors that were so popular?  And wasn't there a forum on here just about Bare Minerals?  I rarely wear makeup but I really love looking at all the colors of the eyeshadows and blushes!

When Leslie sold to the big company, lots of things changed.  Your blushes are still good and I still use many of the same blushes you have.  Yes, there is a forum here.  Just look in "My Favorite Brand."  It's just above the "Welcome Get Started" under forums in the Community Menu.  It's not as popular as it once was, but pleae post there any time, if you like.

The last time I went into a boutique I noticed they were getting rid of all the loose eye shadows.  They had a handful of them.  That was 1-2 years ago.

I have many BE blushes too, and have combined alot of the ones together that were running low. I do like the blushes and do wear them every day. good way to save space and use them up.

bareMinerals is NOT the same anymore. Very limited blushes, shadows in loose minerals. i loved Flowers, Giddy blushes but they aren't sold anymore. They never lasted on my cheeks. Always had to reapply after a hour or 2. So, I guess that's a good thing. I've moved on to Mac blushes. Still looking for shadows.

I remember one of their very popular blush shades was Thistle. I had one i liked called Golden Gate.

That is really interesting that they changed so much!  I certainly put a lot of $$ into their pockets over the years, and have more makeup than I can use in several lifetimes!  Especially the blushes, one needs so little at a time!  I have tons of sealed face color and eye shadows/liners/glimpse/glimmers too,  Time for a sale, I guess.  Sad that they changed, but I guess it's true that it is not easy to "run out" of a particular shade, they seem to go on forever!  Thanks for all the info!

PryPups2, they may last forever in the container. My experience is that after appling to cheeks it lasts maybe an hour. Very disheartening.

The blushes seem to last on me pretty well.  I also have a ton of eye shadows, all new.  If there is something you really must have, let me know, I may have one!

I could open a store with all the Bare Minerals pots of blushes, eye shadows, shimmers, glimmers, and foundations I own.

In the blushes, I love Glee the best. I also love Tulip, Beauty Blush, and I think it's called Fruit Salad (or maybe Fruit Cocktail). The words rubbed off and I can't read what it says. I have a big jar of Warmth, which I've always hated but never had the nerve to throw it away, figuring I could use it for a different purpose, like eye shadow. I still hate it. Please someone tell me to throw it out!!

I also have several shades of foundations, as well as a HUGE jar of Mineral Veil, which I never saw the point of using.

So what you're saying is that all my products are no longer sold? I'm sure glad I have my collection!
