I have been wearing bangs for years, they are whispy bangs not straight.  I tried not having them and hated it.  I think I look younger with bangs and I don't have my hair falling in my face. I didn't know bangs were out.  I go by what looks best on me.

I change my hair cut alot because it grows so darn fast. The last time I did bangs, we went for the curtain style (the whole style was a modified wolf cut, just above the shoulders). The grow out period for these was pretty painless (as opposed to wispy, short or side bangs).

Recently, I couldn't deal with all the length, so we are back to a french bob (chin length, no angle, blunt cut). My stylist did a great job blending the curtain bangs in, so it doesn't look weird.

So, if you are tempted by bangs, but are afraid of the grow out period, curtain bangs were pretty easy.

Yes, I agree with @Squirrels Are Trash  curtain bangs would be a good place to start. It's an in between stage where you haven't committed too much either way and could still sorta blend them into the sides if you don't like the bang look or decide to go shorter if you do or even keep the curtains, etc.

I've tried bangs and every time I have I've regretted it.  They just don't work for my hair texture. I have frizzy, naturally wavy hair and they require a lot of product and heat to look right and frizz up at the first signs of humidity.

I generally prefer a face framing layer.

I never knew bangs went out of style.  Have had them for years.  Do you what you feel looks best on you and wear them however you want.

Last week I was watching Toni Brattin and she was modeling the Wispy Bang Hairpiece - A673926 - $39.00, it looked nice on her, of course she has her wigs/hairpieces cut/styled to her perfection when she models them because on the other models it doesn't quite look the same IMO.   You might want to check it out if you're indecisive about how you would look with bangs.

Yes, i have had bangs for the longest. I enjoy them and for me, they are a necessity, as I have thinning along my hairline and bangs help diffuse that. I do wear them back sometimes for a different look and like that as well.

I am all about experimenting when it comes to hair and makeup with different products......My hair is curly, so my bangs obviously aren't straight bangs either.

I've worn bangs almost my entire life. I have a wider forehead, so bangs balance my face out very well. I don't wear curtain bangs, or bangs falling into my eyes, though. They're slightly above brow length.

I think brows can be attractive depending on face shape, for all ages. Someone with a petite, narrow forehead will appear like they're hiding too much of their face.  This happens with those wearing them too long, too, or those with them almost in their eyes. That would personally really bother me.

But, to each their own. The problem is, that experimenting with bangs can be a big downer, if not satisfied with the look. It takes forever to grow them out.

One of the beauty channels I follow on YT mentioned bangs are making a comeback for fall.

I'm considering cutting mine back in, but am waiting to see what style of bangs they are talking about.  Heavy, baby, curtain, ?

I noticed Taylor Swift's bangs in a picture recently and saw the same on this YTuber, but don't know what they are called.  They are sort of going in all directions!

As a 50+ woman, I'm not sure I want to follow what the youngsters are doing.

I'm 90 and have them and have had them for years. not  straight, wispy, not in my eyes. I don't wear them to cover anything up ,I just like them. Didn't know you had to  be in style to have them, guess Ive been in style since 4th grade. I guess you can say, I march to my own drum.

I don't remember life without bangs. I'm not hiding forehead lines, I just prefer my look with them. They aren't full, probably 70%.  The length is uneven, choppy/chunky.   They fall right below my eyebrows and are a little longer on the sides.  I usually cut my own by gathering up my bangs twisting them cutting the length and then doing a point cut to make them uneven and choppy looking. Frankie's bangs are the same way. Tousled and choppy. That's the way we like it 😊

BANGS!!!!  You either love em or hate em!! I do have them--but they are very wispy and feathered and layered so they don't hang in my face. AND I have been known to go completely postal and cut the b-jeezus out of them if I don't get reg cuts!! The one person I think of with bangs is host-Sandra Bennet--OMG---those bangs drive me insane!!! Woman Mad

These are the type of bangs that Ilike....wispy and feathered.  They are light and airy and add to many faces.  I can't stand the ones that Sandra has.  Looks like the popular bangs I wore as a teen back in the 1970s.
