One of the beauty channels I follow on YT mentioned bangs are making a comeback for fall.

I'm considering cutting mine back in, but am waiting to see what style of bangs they are talking about.  Heavy, baby, curtain, ?

I noticed Taylor Swift's bangs in a picture recently and saw the same on this YTuber, but don't know what they are called.  They are sort of going in all directions!

As a 50+ woman, I'm not sure I want to follow what the youngsters are doing.

@timeless

I've talked to my hair dresser about bangs a few times.    worn my hair without them for so long, it seems those with them have much fewer lines than me lol.

However, she told me I'd regret it.  So, I didn't go for it.  She recommended getting some clip in bangs to try and see what I thought.  I'm considering this option.  Perhaps you can look into this too.😃❤️

BANGS!!!!  You either love em or hate em!! I do have them--but they are very wispy and feathered and layered so they don't hang in my face. AND I have been known to go completely postal and cut the b-jeezus out of them if I don't get reg cuts!! The one person I think of with bangs is host-Sandra Bennet--OMG---those bangs drive me insane!!! Woman Mad

Bangs are making a comeback?   I never knew they left. 🤷‍♀️

Bangs are not age specific.  I'm in my mid 60's and believe I look better with bangs than having my whole forehead showing or having hair falling on my face all the time.  I keep them at eyebrow level.

I wouldn't be without them.  Now that I'm older I also think they help hide forehead lines and the thinning areas I have on both sides of my forehead.

Did bangs ever leave? It depends on a person's individual style whether they wear bangs or not. Who cares whether they're "in style"? That's only one person's opinion, not the rule.

I've always worn wispy bangs because I like the way they look.

I can't wear bangs.  I have a cowlick or natural part on one side of my forehead.  My hair in front is shorter, so I guess a side bang, but I've had that for years.

I wore bangs for most of my life until my hair got too thin. I just bought a new hair topper with bangs and I'm waiting for it to arrive!

I've had bangs in the past several times. I might consider them again, but not because they're on trend. I think I look fine either way. It's definitely more upkeep to keep them trimmed and styled just right. They are a real pain to grow out when you don't want them anymore.

ETA: I don't like bangs hanging on the sides of my face and in my eyes so those curtain bangs would drive me bonkers.

I've had bangs for just about my entire life. I prefer how I look with them.

There have been a few times when I thought I'd try to let them grow out, but it's nearly impossible (for me) because, like @wilma , I don't like my bangs hanging on the sides of my face.

The "growing out" phase is hard to deal with so I am constantly trimming them back.
