Ladies I need your help. I have 2 weddings coming up this summer and I want to really look good. I think my skin is starting to look better than it has in a really long time. But I have bags under my eyes. There not to bad but I want to get rid of them if I can. Any recomendations? Thanks.

Drink a lot of water and don't use salt.Get lots of sleep and elevate the head of your bed if possible.some eye creams contain caffeine and those can help too.

I was told by a plastic surgeon, to steep camomile tea for 3 minutes, and pinch off the excess water ( still keeping them moist) and hold the tea bags under each eye for up to 45 minutes per night. I use Josie Maran's Argan oil before bed - and I do this for 7 days before an event. You need to use camomile though because of its properties to reduce puffiness (and the tea does not stain under eyes). Enjoy the weddings!!

Only way to get rid of them is to have surgery. Those puffy bags are fat pads. I have them too and have my whole life. If I had $5000 I'd go get them done but I don't. One thing I DON"T do is put alot of concealer on top of them. I do that around them and then lightly powder with a good finishing powder. Maybe the teabags will help reduce them. Couldn't hurt to try, right?

I use the Genie Instant line Smoother from here on Q everyday and it works great for me! Sometimes I do just one eye then ask DH which looks better and he has always picked the Genie eye so I know it makes a good difference. The trick with this product is less is more. Just a TINY dab under each eye and let it dry for a minute or 2. People seem to love or hate this product but I LOVE it and keep a good backup stash.Maybe it will work for you too.

I have always had this problem and have tired so many products. Here's what is working for me now: First Aid Beauty Eye therapy cream. (I use it in the am and do not put anything on top of it)

Dr. Denese MD 33 Eye and/or Dr. Denese eye fixxer upper for the the top and bottom  at night.

I have seriously reduced the puffiness and dark circles under my eyes. I can see a difference depedning on the amount of sleep that I get.

Hope you have the same good results that I did.

Just wanted to say too, that this product, A255422, Peter Thomas Roth instant firm X eye with the brush worked the best of all these type of products for me. You can't put anything under it or over it except for a light dusting of powder or it will break down, at least in my experience, but it did smooth things out nicely. I may give it a try again just to experiment with it.

If you have the money ($4000 in my area) and enough time to heal before the weddings, a lower blepharoplasy to remove the fat pads is the way to go.  I had hereditary eye bags for a long time, and the associated dark circles caused by shadows under the bags.  I finally bit the bullet 2 months ago and had the surgery.  How I wish I had done it sooner!  I do agree that putting concealer on the bags only accentuates them.  I used to brush the concealer under the bag to try and camouflage the dark circles, but the only way to get rid of them is with surgery.
