BRIGHTENING FACE PRIMER

I feel as if I've been gone forever from this board...thank God for a snowday to catch up! I've missed you BEauties!

Quick question...I bought the new brightening primer and just opened today (I've had it for a couple of weeks). When I pumped it, it came out very runny and looked kind of gross. I called the BE boutique (40 miles away) and she said that it may have frozen in shipment and separated. She told me to shake it or stir it around. That just doesn't seem right. I may just return it this weekend. Has anyone had a similar issue? Any suggestions?
