Hi All:

Looking for the most protection complete sunblock, as if I wouldn't get any color at all.

Any suggestions?

I am currently using Elta MD 46 on face, but with this high heat, it's not enough, and using Hawiiian tropic spf 30 on body.

It was 100 yesterday.

Check out EWG's Sunscreen Guide. It's very educational and give ratings based on efficacy, safety, and UVA/UVB blocking ratio.

One that they rate very highly is Suntegrity and I think it's wonderful. You can try the product for a couple of bucks to see if you like it, and they also have tinted.

I am very fond of alba Botanica sunblocks. Physical & natural are offered. They do not stay white on the skin and they are very moisturizing & reasonably priced. I buy at iherb.com or luckyvitamin.com. Whole Foods also carries. Under $10.

I love Burnout line and the Kids formula. Is has a non chemical SPF of 30 and it is not greasy and does not leave a white cast on your face. It does not burn if it runs in your eyes and it is effective for 40 minutes in water or if sweating. There is an extensive thread on it on the Essential Day Spa forum (EDS).
