I don't know, go watch the video on the Auto-Delivery selection A257445, not on the singular purchase which was an on-air presentation with Amy Stran. This one is a how-to video with Jessica Foust and Leah the model. It's probably the viscosity of regular foundation, but there's a shaker ball in the bottle, like nail polish would have. Then when she applies it to Leah's skin, it kind of looks dense to my eye. Almost like Jessica is spreading paint, which is the best way I can describe it. I was interested in it because of the serum properties, but am now going to wait on the reviews after I saw this video.
I've watched that video too, I know what you mean. But I think the point of it is that it's light and you don't feel it on. BUT I don't know because I haven't tried it. I am curious though, and will try to watch the presentations this weekend, and hopefully try it at Ulta or something. I'm curious, but at the same time I like BE Original & Ready, I'm not sure I need another version of BE foundation.

Yeah. I think you are right. I think I am remembering the 'good ol' days' when the BE TSV were FABULOUS collections, great values and included new launches.
I used to order at mid-night because they so often sold out early in the day!

ITA. As none of us have had the opportunity to try it yet, I can't say this with absolute fact but I seriously doubt that the very first BE liquid foundation to be produced would be a thick formula, particularly now, when the whole trend in liquid foundations today is leaning towards much thinner consistencies as that is what the market is demanding. Women don't want thick formulas, they want as light a formula as possible yet still with the ability to provide coverage.
Most of the major cosmetic brands are all coming out with thinner and thinner formulas, many with the added benefit of skincare ingredients. While I am not doubting the poster who thought she saw a thick liquid, there could be various reasons for that. Not shaken well after being in transit and/or storage and the storage conditions themselves could all play a part. From all I've gathered about this new release, I believe their intent is to give us a light viscosity while at the same time, providing ample coverage.
I'd be really surprised for BE at this point in time to release any sort of thick and heavy foundation. They are trying not only to reach those who never gave up on using liquid foundations but also to appeal to those who became mineral users. Something thick and heavy is quite unlikely to hold any interest for either of those groups. JMO.
Guess we'll know soon enough. Regarding the inclusion of this foundation in tomorrow's TSV, I think it would have been too much of a gamble to try and sell a TSV with a completely new direction in foundation. Once women have been exposed to it, hopefully then we'll see it included in an upcoming TSV.
This TSV seems more directed at appeasing all the loyal BE users that their beloved mineral products aren't going anywhere. I think the two 5-1 items do sound interesting.

Actually 7 out of the 8 items in this TSV are new releases. Maybe not what some think they'll like but only the original mineral foundation is an existing product in their lineup.
I do think the two 5 in 1 products look very interesting and the Elation has already received positive reviews.

Cut it out! BE having a serum foundation as part of a whole line of items they offer is no big deal. Seriously! No its not odd. You're odd for trying to stir the pot. BE has stellar products.

Those were the days! I always bought the BE TSVs. Some were $39.99 and maybe even lower. Great items. I stopped using BE 9 or so years ago. Product no longer worked for me.

What should they cut out?
I think that this is what the forums are for. Not for criticizing a host's makeup or weight, but for commenting on products.
I think with TSVs they try to leave out the products that might not appeal or apply to everyone, and since the original appeal of Bare Minerals was that it was NOT a liquid or a cream but a powder that "turned" creamy, the fact that it now takes forms that they used to eschew might cause a great amount of returns.
