BB Black mauve eyeliner or LG Rims?

So many of you have left me wonderful suggestions on my other post about black eyeliner, I thought this post would get lost. Just a couple questions, again. I find your ideas and suggestions very very helpful!

When a black eyeliner is mixed with a color like BB Black Mauve and Laura Geller rims, do you still see mainly black or does mixing a color with black change the black tone even darker or do you see some extra color. Not being able to wear black should I just stay away from these products?

Yesterday, I tried one of LG baked eye shadows wet as a liner and it flaked all over and under the eye. What did I do wrong? I think maybe I didn't use enough water. I have never tried this, what a mess, but after I cleaned up the flakes it really looked nice. Several of my friends asked if I did something different since they really liked it. So, what did I do wrong? A number of OP suggested eye shadows but what is the secret to getting a nice thin line, no flakes, and lasting power?

Having green eyes and being fair a OP suggested that I should not use plum. It appears she has a lot of knowledge about eye makeup but I am wondering as to why I should not use plum. I find this very interesting since many posters with the same coloring as I feel like me that plum pops green eyes. I would love to know why no plum liners! Than

This is my last post on black eyeliner.....I hope, lol! You ladies have covered every angle to which I am very grateful and happy!

Many, Many Thanks!
