do you think the scent could be removed from the bulb and placed in a wax burner or maybe the liquid is flammable? I love the scents but I have noticed the two I have in the kitchen are not very noticeable. Maybe I could add the scent liquid to an old Glade plugin that I have. Any ideas?

I emptied one of mine into a glade one today so we'll see if that works. You just have to pry the caps off carefully.

Future. Yankee plug ins are AWESOME! They are far more fragrant too. I just bought a bunch on their after-holiday sale! Check them out

I no longer use any type of electric plug in air fresher since I read about them having known carcinogens that can cause cancer. They were also giving me bad headaches.

I know! they have no 'throw' and they are weak. Not worth the $$ anymore. I think Glade and all others are better by far and just as good if not better!. I just like buying the bulbs to put in the pretty holiday holders. They will lose out now w/o sales on these overpriced Wallflowers. I will use Glade and others when there is no holiday...xams one is still up and it really has no scent but the snowman holder is dear looking.

Edit to add: I also see mine has a 14 or so left in the scent bulb and it has been that way like you mentioned yours was like that! wonder why?

I have pried open many and stuck them in others but I'm so busy now I have no time for that. Everything is getting so cheap now :/...don't they see we notice that? maybe everyone should drop them a line about it...doubt it will help.

Re: B&BW Rant!!....Wallflower plug ins do NOT go on sale anymore!

Some of you cannot smell them because you get used to the scent. I can't smell many of mine but people come into my home and comment about how nice it smells.

You can tell when your warmer isn't working if you feel it and it isn't warm.

I was told by an SA in B&BW that the warmers are only designed to last about 6 months and then have to be replaced. He said they get a lot of complaints about that.

I detest any of the Glade plug-ins. I've tried tons of the scents and they all smell cheap and chemical to me. The Air Wick plug-ins are nice and I use those often. My favorite are the Febreze ones. They bring out a couple of scents at the holiday that are really nice. I stock up on those.

I have found with the B&BW bulbs that some of them smell heavenly and are strong, some smell nice but aren't very fragrant and some smell disgusting. What I don't like is that they put the corresponding candles out to smell before buying the bulbs. However, the scents aren't the same. I love the Winter Candy Apple candle but the bulb in that scent was nauseating. Same with warm vanilla sugar. Love the candle, hate the bulb.

Question---How do you know whether your plug-in has stopped working or your fragrance bulb has lost its fragrance?

After your unit has been plugged in for an hour or so wrap your hand around the area of he plug that the bulb screws in to. It should feel warm to the touch (not hot!), and this indicates tht it's working.

Yes, I'm so disappointed about that too. Love these things, I always have about 5 of them going in my house.

There were several I would have bought over Christmas if they'd had the usual deal on them. There was one particular design of which I would have bought several for myself but the new pricing stopped me at just one unit.

Well take the plug in back and tell them it is not working. I did and they gave me a new one for free. I agree, they go out WAY too quick. HOWEVER....that is not true as far as I know. When they have the 6 for 24 you can get the plug ins instead of bulbs or mix and match.

YES. But it is messy. All you have to do is pull that paper thing out and the rim around it. Then u can pour the oil out into an oil warmer. I have done it when I have a bunch of them with just a bit left in them. Many stop smelling after a certain level in the bulb because the wic thing doesn't reach the oil anymore. So I remove them and save them. When I have a few I dump them all together. (same scents)
