Auto-Delivery placed on Back-Order

Really... what is the point of enrolling in Auto-Delivery when the items is subject to going on Back-Order. THEN, as it happened before, the item gets 'cancled' before you received the first Auto-Delivery. I believed the point was to basically 'reserve' the item for future shipment.

Re: Auto-Delivery placed on Back-Order

Guaranteed there can be manufacturing problems, but over my many years with QVC, I have saved hundreds of dollars because I used AD's on products I would have bought anyway.  Yes, some shoppers would buy drugstore products where I want brand names, but since I know me and can buy what works for me, I take advantage of AD when I can.

I know it's frustrating  when it doesn't work, but I assume it's also frustrating for the sellers when we skip shipments they were expecting to be easy sales.

I appreciate that QVC makes it so simple to enroll in AD, but I appreciate even more that not once in the maybe 100 times I've used the AD process over the years have they given me trouble when I canceled or skipped.  I've read the horror stories from posters who enrolled elsewhere in programs and got billed when they tried to quit!
