Hi guys Guess it isn't a great end of summer for most of us.
Doglover, glad the VN got the sign-off. Might keep an extra eye on Mickey, sounds like maybe she likes him a little too much.
Glad DH had good PT people. I'm sure with hard work he'll do fine.
Pepe's mom, yeah, bad things in 3's so you are covered for now. As far as tires, any good junk yards in your area? Sometimes you can get tires cheaper there. Sorry about your car, but at least the brakes didn't go with you driving, that's a blessing in itself.
Hope kitty gets back to normal soon.
CB drove back to school.

Desi and pepesmom, My BE radiant TSV came today, LOVE IT! I put my serum on(OOO microsculpture serum) than followed the instructions the 2 sales clerks at Ulta said to do. I shook it really good, very important both said, than put only 2 drops on, dabbed on both cheeks than forehead than using that same brush I put the foundation on all over using a circular motion. This is more than a TM, like my own face/skin only a whole lot better. This doesn't settle into or show up fine lines or pores. My face feels like silk, almost like glass it is so smooth.
Bare Shell is perfect for me, 100% perfect match. I used the bamboo umber shadow(light cinnamon brown with just a hint of shimmer, not glitter) with the shadow brush, very nice, used the powder blush, vintage carnation,(very natural color, very soft rose) using the tapered blush brush, also very nice, good color for most I would say. I put the moxie lip gloss on(Natural Beauty, says soft garnet), but is a nice color for most, sort of a very soft raspberry/rose. This is tingly and a bit tacky but is a good color and does look nice.
I used everything in this 7 pc. kit other than the mineral veil. I didn't want to spoil the look just in case the powder mineral veil doesn't look good on me. Before I wash it off at bedtime though I will try the mineral veil so I know what it is like and if I like it or not BUT, I really don't need anything on this foundation at all, is super perfect for me exactly the way it is.
This will or should also last me 3 months like they said using only 2 drops a day. If you have something to conceal I would use 3 drops but no more to start with and see how you like it. I LOVE IT! The one sales clerk said she needs 4 drops but the other said she needs and uses only 2 drops and it lasts her 3 months.
My face isn't at all tacky/sticky like with some foundations although I can't say if you were to use a lot of this but you really don't need a lot. My face looks very natural, can't see where I stopped or started at the jawline so color is perfect like they said. I am very glad I went to Ulta and had them both help so much, very helpful and I am very appreciative. From color swatches online I would have ordered Bare Linen, no way when they put that on me, too dark and too yellow, Bare Shell is my perfect shade.
So, while I said I love the new Mally, I love this a whole lot more and so much so I may order another on AD when it airs and cancel the AD for my Mally as well as my AD for the IT. That is how much I really love this one.
I will use it again tomorrow of course and see if I still feel the same although I don't know why I wouldn't.
Like the clerks at Ulta said, shake shake shake and use only 2 drops to start with and no more than 3 till you see how it is for you.
I am glad you get all new brushes with each shipment, great, very good deal, excellent deal.
I got Fair in both the last new Mally TSV her new liquid foundation, in a compact as well as the newer IT CC foundation, both in fair and while I could have used a tad deeper(and I do mean just a tad) fair works well but this Bare Shell is perfect. I have a light to light medium complexion. Regular medium is way too dark for me.
I also have dry skin or some would say normal to dry since it doesn't flake or feel tight.
pepesmom, DS use to have that happen every single time he took his car for inspection. We have a place that is just for tires and batteries and is a great place with great deals, is where we get our tires if we get a nail in one or something goes with a tire. These are new tires although he does sell used ones like when DS needed 2 tires and being he has 4 wheel drive DH thought it best to get all 4 new even though they were almost new, less than 2 years old but 2 got nails in them, in the sidewall. Of course it was that so called GF he had at the time that was/is a psycho since she was seen climbing our fence and cutting our lights we had strung on the far back patio. Anyway, good luck with getting the car/truck fixed. Hope kitty is better tomorrow too.
Desi, so right, always come in 3's it seems. I am sure these 2 guys are really going to work him good, needs it too so glad we went there. Everyone that sees Mickey falls in love with him he is sooo cute but when he does his dance than smiles you could just squeeze him which we do of course.
Starting to get very muggy here so think the AC will be going on again tonight and staying till at least the middle of next week.

I have had it on for over 14 hours yesterday, no problems with caking or anything. I find it works best without a primer or anything heavy on your face.
Today I tried as the one sales clerk at Ulta said to try, is what she does. I too have a Real Techniques expert face brush as she said she uses so today I thought, why not try as she suggested. I shook well than today after seeing how small those 2 drops were I put 3 tiny drops on the tip of my real techniques expert face brush than dabbed some on both cheeks, forehead, nose and chin than using a circular motion I applied this new foundation, worked like a charm.
While I like both brushes for me anyway I feel better using my real techniques expert face brush when applying this but the brush that comes with it is very nice as well. Maybe I am just use to using my RT EFB don't know but both work well. I just think for me I am so use to my RT brush but will most likely alternate when I wash one.
Just wanted to post an update after using my RT EFB with 3 tiny drops, covered very well,(little more coverage and all I need) face is so smooth and so natural looking and not at all sticky/tacky like when I use my IT CC cream foundation. No matter how little I use in that my face stays tacky and talk about cleaning the brush, WOW, super hard to get all that IT CC cream out of the brush, very hard to clean. After using this my RT EFB still feels as soft as before I used it.
While I still like the new Mally liquid in the compact in no way does that compare with this which is much easier to use, much quicker and will last a whole lot longer than the Mally liquid in the compact will that's for sure.
So, very happy camper here.
Bare Shell is a very nice color, neutral without all the yellow or pink in it I find. I hope you like it as much as I do. Watch the presentation before you decide if you are undecided at all. Also try it a few days different ways always shaking well though. I also find no primer is needed and better without one. I also wouldn't put anything heavy on my face before this, doesn't need anything other than a light moisturizer or light serum. Save the heavy stuff for night time.

Doglover, great that the new foundation is as good as you thought! You are making it tempting and I am almost sure it won't work for me. Went to Ulta and the SA put Bare linen along my jaw and said that was a good match but she didn't try any other shades. She saw me putting dots of the lighter shades on my wrist and offered to help. The Bare Shell looked too pink on my wrist and I think it's considered a cool shade. She said Ulta will have a special deal next Sat I believe on BE, maybe to compete with the TSV? The TSV will probably be a better deal, usually are.
I also spritzed Living Grace (for sure it was Living this time). It's nice enough, not sure if I need to buy it, lol!
Lovely out, I am just not in a great mood lately.

Desi, bare linen is the one I thought would be for me just looking online at swatches but when they put that on me it showed yellow. The Bare Shell does have the slightest hint of a soft pink but is the one that matches perfectly for me. That's why it is good to get matched, colors don't show up very well online, have to see and try in person that's for sure, found that out too. Don't cave if you really don't think it would work for you.
Will check the Ulta deal out next week but happy with this whole kit and of course am keeping it on AD.
Is Living Grace the one that is a bit more floral? I didn't see that or I would have spritzed too.
I just ordered and got 4 bottles of Beautiful from Paulette, was scraping the bottom of the one I have. I still love her Beautiful and the ET white diamonds.
‎08-30-2014 06:39 PM
Doglover, I thought too that Bare Linen might be too yellow. None seemed to match my wrist well, and staring at the bottled shades was futile.
Living Grace has been out a while, sort of has a green note to it so maybe a bit more floral. That last bottle I tried there had definitely turned.
They had a lot of other new scents, just not really myself. Will take a while.
Haven't placed a PSS order in a while. Out of the AG dupe but that's gone now.

Desi, I can't tell you when I last placed a PSS order, well over a year and maybe longer?
Don't have to tell me, when I saw all those bottles of foundation colors I was overwhelmed but luckily 2 sales clerks came almost immediately since they weren't busy, everyone was out in the parking lot watching the air show. I would have just ordered bare linen for me had I not gone to Ulta, was what looked like a perfect match online every place I looked. On my wrist and jaw line though it was too yellow for me. I thought I had a bit of yellow but I do have a slight pinkish rose blush on my cheeks so I rarely need or use a blush although I do like this one. I was surprised when both said bare shell but once they put it on my wrist and jaw line I could see right away, was a perfect match for me even when I went outside to look at my wrist and the back of my hand. She gave me a large hand mirror to check and was good on the jawline too so, got bare shell and very happy with that shade.
got a new Ulta flyer for next week, no biggie, BE new foundation is $29 and the new brush is $28 and the new mineral veil compact is $25 so, for those 3 alone wow, and in the TSV you also get the new moxie lip color and the new blush color as well as the eye shadow and the blush and shadow brushes so, can't go wrong if you like the new foundation, $54.98 and on 3 easy pays. You will get another shipment in January than again in May, 3 in all plus new brushes each time.
He DH not been waiting in the car for me I would have tried some scents but, right now can't get out without him since he was cooped up so long between the hospital and the rehab place he likes to get out now but I am doing all the driving yet.

Hi all. Raining and we have a tornado warning for another 15 minutes!
Doglover, thanks for the info. I thought linen might be a bit too yellow, but chances are shell would be too pink. She didn't swatch other shades so can't be certain. She did give me a hand-mirror and tell me to look near the windows.
Back when Prescriptives color- matched it was funny, was told I was yellow at 2 counters and blue at another. I think I am really a mix but skew towards yellow. I found the ingredients for the new foundation and I am just leery. The rare earth breaks me out and I am not sure about the oils in it, just don't know. My jaw isn't oily but the area she swatched seemed pretty shiny so not sure how it would do on my whole face.
It's always impossible to shop when the guys are there but even worse considering yours is dependent on you right now. Hope he is back to driving and feeling like his old energetic self very soon.
Still no good buys at TJs or Marshall's as far as make-up.
New thread tonight!

I forgot to transcribe the written names to the proper numbers for the bareskin foundation. I was able to place an advance autoship order for shell. Hoping to receive it by end of the week.
From what I saw at Ulta last week, I could probably go with either porcelain or shell. We shall see how this goes.
Had clinic today. Rained, not many folks came. Vaccinated 34 animals. Final summer clinic in 2 weeks. These are the ones that we go into different areas. The clinics run at the shelter go year round.
I get to be the cashier on Thursday's clinic. This will be my first money handling job with any clinic. And we are expecting a mad house. Yay. I'll get through it.
Hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday weekend. I'll post more tomorrow. I'm tired and will be going to bed shortly.

Thanks for the list of shades Pepe's mom! Hope you get shell!
You will rock as cashier, don't sweat it. Glad the clinic continues.
Hope you got truck tires and your car is getting fixed.
