I've been reading up on Asian sunscreens because they're touted as being more cosmetically elegant (minimal white cast and/or shine, good "slip" and absorption) and am wondering if any of you beauties have tried them and if so, do you have any favorites?

I use Shiseido almost exclusively on my face.  It is the best!  I have oily skin so it is not greasy or slippery.  It also doesn't have Avobenzone, which makes my face terribly red and breaking out.

@Sooner

Do you use the Japanese version or the one that's available here?

I love Asian sunscreens. I get mine on Amazon.

I use Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence SPF50+.

I have used two different kinds of Korean products. They both are called sun milk with spf 50 physical sunscreen.  One was Missha brand and the other is Étude House.  I bought both on Amazon for around $12.  They both performed similarly.  They sink into the skin quickly and leave a more matte finish.  I am in the sun a lot for work and have had no burns.  I would repurchase either, but I think I liked the Erude House slightly better.

@quinn5140

Do either of these leave a white cast at all?

@theBabe

I ordered that one on Amazon today. It has a lot of good reviews. Here's hoping it works for me. It's going to be a while before I get it since it's coming from Japan.

They do not leave a white cast at all.
