Dana is in good company. I have not heard one beauty vendor explain ingredients. Everyone I hear talks about the red carpet or a ""miracle"" from another part of the world

To the contrary, the no-information presentations obviously do sell a lot of product, otherwise QVC would not continue to sell Perricone, and Dana would not be the paid company spokesperson.
The marketers for both companies track the sales data and presentations are carefully crafted to maximize sales.
There tends to be the perception that the on air presenters are acting independently, because we never see the hundreds of people behind the scenes who make this happen.
We buy on emotion. And there's a Tipping Point to the price point. Depending on the product, too high & no one will buy; too low...no one will buy. Perricone has 'science' behind him & has done an excellent job of positioning himself with the higher price point...if it was lower, sales would be affected. Other products like SSC markets itself @ a lower price point...where we can try more. Both brands have the same profit margin, but attract different customers.
Having a myriad of different products & new discoveries is se.xy, but I prefer my little brand of 3 products. Natural Advantage has had the same 3-product regime over a decade. Retinol, SPF & a good wash...that's all you need....I should say, that's all I need.
I know thins is OT, but I'm so tickled that someone else uses Natural Advantage! That's all WE need! Their retinol nighttime cream is sooooo effective.

I have been saying the same thing that many posters here are saying, for years. Dana does not provide any scientific or clinical research to any of his products. She just remarks how it is so dramatic and she can't live with out it., Means nothing to me.
With that said however, these 2 products are not new so why the questioning now about the ingredients, especially from the OP. She is always on the forums talking about peptides, neuropeptides, cones, any ingredient in skincare AND seems to have a lot of knowledge about all these ingredients if she does that much homework. That neuropeptide cream has been around forever and MBR says she has used it every day for years. But if you look at her now and look at her 10-12 years ago, that is all the proof you need. She does not look like she stopped aging, she looks like she aged into her 50's just as we all have. I would not guess her to be younger. And same thing for Dana. I remember the very first time she was on. She had her hair in a little ponytail, she was selling that doctor's kit of discovery products and she had a very pronounced Irish (or English) accent at that time. She too has aged and like someone else said, she looks her age, not younger so what else do we need to know? If a product slowed down the aging or turned back the hands of time, I would think it's something special but if in the end you still look your age, stick with whatever you're using.

I have to admit that I have never used his products and more than likely never will. I am pleased with my current regimen that costs less.
The problem I have with Dana, who appears to be a lovely woman and she get's points in my book for being a breast cancer survivor is that she gives no information. I can't watch her anymore, everything is how great he is and how ground breaking and extraordinary the product is but we receive no information on the actual product.
Every now and then they throw up some clinical or perception study and that's about it.

I honestly can't believe that a group of presumably intelligent modern women would spend this much time and angst over a TV promotion of another overpriced snake-oil beauty potion. Good grief, girls! It doesn't matter what Dr. Perricone's minion Dana says or doesn't say; you're just supposed to believe and BUY it! The price and ingredients are immaterial; it is magic.

Someone is buying! But then again $200 is chump change to some people as well.

Yes, she does look mid 50ish. She thinks she looks 20ish. NOT! lol

I think Dana would look great if she wore makeup appropriate for TV. I'm sure she looks dewy faced in person, but on TV, it's just oily and blotchy.
