I know I'm behind most of you so please be kind! Who is "Paula" and why does everyone mention her as having special knowledge or product information? I'd like to check her out. Thx

Paula is Paula Begoun who has her own skin care line, Paula's Choice. She's also a book author and reviews makeup lines on her beautypedia website.

She started her skincare line with one cleanser, many years after she wrote books, had a monthly newsletter, etc. She is called the "Cosmetics Cop", her site has ingredients, articles, reviews, an ingredient dictionary, etc.

Some love her, some hate her--you have to check out her website to see for yourself. I don't agree with everything she says, but she's always been a great source of information. I've been following her since the early 80's.

I'm 67 and have been using her products since 1995 and love the fact that they are not animal tested, color & fragrance free!!

Thanks for helpful answers. I did peruse her book years ago at a friends house but forgot & wasn't sure if this was same Paula. Worth checking out website for info on ingredients & products but I'm very pleased with my current regimen & skin blessed by good genes I had no control over!! Sun damage my biggest mistake but it's reversed now.

I have been using Paula's products for quite sometime. Products do not have to be expensive or be beautifully packaged to work. Paula's Choice is the best. The packaging is created so serums, vitamin C, and any other targeted treatment are safe from air and light. Most treatment should never be in jars. When one opens jars and one does not use a spatula, the product is prone to being contaminated and the air and light will cause oxidation.

Ladies you must try Paula's line the results are amazing! I also like the fact they do not contain any fragrance and are NOT tested on animals. What do you have to lose???

P.S. I am a skin specialist for a very prestigious line and I continue to use Paula's Choice!

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I like the way Paula does business. Outstanding customer service, fast shipping, beautiful packaging, quality products.

May not be the best approach to get answers from knowledgeable posters. I have to say I had the same reaction. Whether you like/agree with PC or not there must be hundreds of posts and it is easily googled.
