Argan Oil - General Question

I am the only one who wonders if there is such a tiny amount of Argan oil available every year - how can it be in everything all of a sudden?

On HSN Adrienne has had a blue bottle that she displays when discussing her products and says this is all she gets every year and that they have tried to bring the tree/plant elsewhere and it dies.

Calista Tools products have Argan Oil, then there is Joise Maran's "natural" products filled with chemicals and Argan oil.

Where is it all coming from. If we are to believe what they are telling us - it just does not add up?

Anyone have any ideas?
