I have a perm to support the style in my fine yet thick hair.  Layering also helps with the curl.  The reason you don't see it down often is I don't want to invest the time to use the curling iron daily so I pull it back.Smiley Happy

I have no idea....but I have never seen anyone at the salon I go to getting them.  I have very naturally curly hair so perms are a NO GO for me LOL!  I am thinking of doing a straightening tx my salon does just to see how I like that for once in my life!  Would be great to go to a tropical place and not have my hair a frizzy clump stuck to my head...think brillo pad hair.  I'd love to experience that just one time LOL....my stylist says it will last perhaps 6mo's....not too bad but it does cost $300...not something I would do very often.

i never stopped getting perms.. i get them every 4 to 5 months.. i get my hair trimmed about every 6 weeks.. my hair is healthy and i use good products on it.. i love my curls!!!!!
